The administration on Minimins.com have shown themselves to be horrid people and due to their ill treatment of me, I'm choosing to leave the weight loss community online.
Few will be aware of my full story, but last year I was attacked and raped by a stranger who forced his way to my home. After that I rarely left the house, and since then I've struggled with crowds and going places alone. Just as things looked to be improving I suffered from the miscarriage of mine and my boyfriends baby. Again I got up and fought again. Then I was involved in a car crash that nearly caused permanent damage to my back and left me off work for three months. All of this was on top of the clinical depression that I have suffered with since the age of 13.
This year I decided to fight back and take my life into my own hands and started this blog to help me motivate my journey of weight loss (mainly weight gained during the trauma that was 2011).
The Minimins admin team seem to have got it in their heads that I am a disgusting slut that had set this blog up to make money and encourage others to do dangerous diets (despite many diets they condone showing a multitude of long term health risks). The truth is that I set this blog up as a place that I could speak freely and hope to be supported by and support others in their decision to life healthy happier lives.
While my parents raised me to be polite, to Minimins admin team....I say a hearty "fuck you"!!!
I'd been suicidal when I started this blog, and when they first started treating me so disgustingly I was feeling even worse. But I've decided to turn this around. I'm going to lose that weight to spite the heartless ignoramuses.
And once I've done Uni and start my successful career. They can sit at their computer screens getting more and more bitter, twisted and jealous.
*** it's important to note that while the admin are richter scale 9.8 bitches, the vast majority of users are lovely, genuine, warm and supportive people. They've really given me so much help (it almost makes the treatment of Admin worthwhile). I'll miss you!!!
Bye!!!!!
The adventures of Miss.Jones attempting to lose weight, fighting against the evil administrators of Minimins who try to thwart her attempts at building a happy, healthier, more confident life.

TESCO ULTRA SLIM MILKSHAKES Final Day
Diet advice: Drink in replacement of two of your daily meals, then have a third healthy balanced meal and one or two healthy snacks across the day.

Each milkshake is 215 calories.
Average Weight Loss: 2-6 lbs a week (from reading around)
Pro's:
- great if you lead a busy lifestyle
- quick to eat
- fairly tasty
- easily available at your local
- good value (88p per milkshake- sometimes on offer at 3 milkshakes for £2)
Con's:
- on a longer term it would be easy to get bored of the limited flavours
- predominantly liquid diets can get repetitive

- add skimmed milk to your milkshake to make it last longer
MY FINAL WEIGHT: tbc

Week One: Day Five (Tesco Ultra Slim Milkshakes)
Day Five already?! Only two more days of the Milkshakes and I'm determined to make them 100% days :)
Really pleased to get my first 'Follower' today, it really keeps the motivation up. I even told the girls at work today that I couldn't cheat and eat a lemon sherbet and I couldn't lie to anybody that was reading my blog.
This lovely new follower is Dawn, and one of her blog is all about low calorie recipes. She even has an under 100 calories page which I thought followed on nicely from yesterday's post.
I've been practically angelic today! Very pleased to say that I've not cheated at all so far. To stop myself diving into the sweets at work I chopped up a cereal bar before work and took that with me. While they chomped on jelly beans I nibbled at those whenever I started to get a little jealous.
On the bad news front is that appears my scales and my parents disagree. I fear I may have started a few pounds heavier than their much friendlier scales told me. I think my start weight was probably more like 222lbs, as I'm now down to 216 on my scales which was my weight a few days ago. Oh well though! As of next week's diet I'll only weigh myself on my scales...easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Week One: Day Four (Tesco Ultra Slim Milkshakes)
Woohoo!
I've been a good girl today apart from one little cupcake! I was very proud of myself today, I managed to resist the sweeties being passed round by the girls at work. I went to the supermarket to stock up on some low calorie goodies! I bought some Extra Light laughing cow (only 20 calories each!
This little trip has inspired me to list some of my favourite low calorie snacks (that still feel a little bit naughty...so no fruit).
Hartley's Jelly Pots (no added sugar): all below 10 calories each!
Frube Yoghurts: 55 calories each
Freeze Pops: just 13 calories each! A great way to have dessert without all the guilt :) ...Mini Milks are also just 30 calories each.
3 Ritz Crackers: just 48 calories (It's hard to stop at three though!)
the aforementioned wonder that is... Extra Light Laughing Cow: only 20 calories each
Skips Crisps: 89 calories a pack! Other low calorie crisps include 'French Fries', 'Squares', 'French Fries' and 'Pombears' are all under 100 calories.
Fun Size packs of Magic Stars: a fantastically cheery and yummy chocolate fix for just 67 calories! (Mini Mars are only 81 calories, mini Milkybar buttons are 69 calories a pack, and Milkyway bars are 70 calories each.)
Salt and Vinegar Rice Cakes: just 41 calories.
Obviously all of these snacks are a little bit naughty, but due to being so low in calories they are all great for when you are struggling to resist more calorific snacks!

Week One: Day Three (Tesco Ultra Slim Milkshakes)
On all Milkshakes today, but feeling optimistic! The hunger pangs of the first few days seem to have subsided :) and I think they were just due to the shock my body felt when I took away all the Christmas turkey!!!
I weighed myself this morning and I'm down to 216 pounds. Not sure how...but I'm definitely not going to argue. Woohoo!
I'm baking cupcakes for my friends birthday today, just hoping I can resist dipping my fingers in the buttercream icing (I'll post some pictures of my creations later.
Now I'm off to visit my favourite weightloss site and support network...Minimins! I've noticed that lots of people have listed their ongoing targets in their signatures. I think I may have to make a list of my very own :) xxx
They didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped..but they were very yummy...or so I'm told ;)
Well the third day ended diabolically! For my friends birthday, there was much Domino's pizza eaten and when we arrived at the nightclub we had a reserved booth which was slightly filled with friends and booze. On the plus side...I resisted my usual drunken chicken and chips :) . Almost a mini success!

Week One: Day Two (Tesco Ultra Slim Milkshakes)
Oops...well I haven't been very well behaved today, I had my breakfast milkshake but then followed it by a lunch of a Philly cream cheese sandwich with some kettle chips on the side! For dinner we're going to have a chicken casserole with roast potatoes. I should still have a considerably lower calorie consumption than usual though. Also...I did a few hours of shopping in the sales which must have burnt a few calories!!! Tomorrow I'm planning to have only milkshakes all day to make up for my naughtiness :)
Of course none of my purchases were clothing! But I did by a few pretty bits of jewellery in the Accesorize sale, and so fake eyelashes from Boots. Today was my first time trying fake eyelashes and I love them! All the girlies I work with wear them and I think I'm converted...though I'm definitely sticking to the 'natural' looking ones (for now)!
Oh, and I weighed myself today. All the Christmas dinners and cheeky Chinese takeaways have taken their toll, but not as badly as I'd suspected. So rounding up, my Start Weight: 219lbs. Not good!
This means a massive 56 pounds to lose (exactly 4 stone) I'm hoping to reach that by June, but realistically I hope to get to my goal in about a year. Fingers crossed!
***I've done some calorie calculating (with help from www.freedieting.com), which tells me the maintenance calories for my ideal weight (with no exercise) would be 1865 calories a day. On this basis I will try never to go over this, to ensure at the very least...no weight gain!***

Week One: Day One (Tesco Ultra Slim Milkshakes)
Today I start diet nĂºmero uno!
Tesco Ultra Slim Milkshakes (Meal Replacement)
On the side of the meal replacement shakes, the following guidance is provided:
"Tesco Ultra Slim is a range of meal replacement products designed to help you control your calorie intake whilst providing an adequate intake of nutrients...Simply replace two regular meals per day with any Ultra Slim meal replacement product. In addition, enjoy a third meal that is healthy and balanced and one or two healthy snacks during the day."
At 1:30- so far I've had one yummy scrummy chocolate milkshake and one apple :)
At 3:00- I've now had a further shake.
At 7:00- just had a lovely chicken stir fry made by my Pops (probably ate a tad too much!) ,to follow I've had three chocolate orange sticks from Sainsbury's to satisfy my sweet tooth (each stick is only 15 calories).
The original plan was to provide you with a start weight, unfortunately the scales I was planning on using are dead as a dodo. So my first proper weigh in will be tomorrow at some point. I'll average out my weight lost per day at the end of the diet to attempt my likely start weight! I haven't weighed myself since before the holiday season, I'm a tad scared what the scales will say...fingers crossed! I have calculated my ideal weight though. According to a series of sources, at my height of 5"8 and age of twenty... My Healthy Weight Target = 163 pounds

Helloooo...is anybody out there?!
If you are, I bid you a hearty hello :) and welcome you to my new blog. The plan is to write a diary type blog tracking my weight loss success and failures across a range of different diets. Each week I will attempt a different diet and record how it goes.

I wish you all a very happy new year and good luck with all your new year endeavours!
Much love,
Miss.Jones...and future Skinny Jones (hopefully!)
